I've created forms in the past without having to use this plug-in and everything has been relatively smooth. I just pointed to the email address that I want the form to go to. could be the server?

Its not just the file upload it is the whole form I have gotten this error before when using Contact Form 7 do you have WP Mail SMTP it can be found here, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ Some web hosts require wp-mail to use SMTP installing this plugin should fix your problem.

Once you install the plugin go WP MAIL SMTP under the settings menu and configure the SMTP options for the email address you want to send from.

I'm using Google mail – added the email address and password to top part of the plug-in. Still no luck. Any ideas?

Here is a screen shot of my settings just copy them exactly replacing my email with yours also make sure you add the login info at the bottom to test it send a test email. I have only run into having to use this plugin with certain hosting companies most of them don't but some need it. since you are using google mail the smtp port and and smtp host are the same. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dytgmozgr485b2a/Screen-Shot-2013-03-31-at-11.32.19-AM.png

Could you post a screen shot of the Form section and the Mail section? In the actual form builder portion of the admin section

I have a couple questions, 1. What is the watermark text in your form 2. have you double checked to make sure all of the spelling is the same between the form a the message? 3. What is showing up in the emails you get?

Watermark, is a styling piece .Yes I have. Actually everything was working great until I moved to a different hosting company. I tried your solution, it worked using a different email address. I just tried my Google mail address and receive the same error that I originally found. So now not getting any emails. Just that red message.

When I just submitted your form it said the message was sent. Did you trying sending a test email from the WP Mail SMTP settings? One thing you can try is creating a new form and trying with that to see if maybe happened when transferring hosts something happened.
